Payment and Security over the Internet:
More and more people are used to buying and paying for things over the internet.
However if you have not previously purchased on-line then you’ll want to
be assured that it is safe before giving details of your credit or debit
card.
Someone2travelwith will only debit your card with your prior consent. Once your first match
has been found, and you have decided whether to accept it, only then will
you be asked to become a full member. Your payment will then be pre-authorised
and only debited once your chosen companion has accepted too. Please note
you have already confirmed that you have accepted our ‘terms and conditions’
at the point of registration when you clicked on the acceptance button.
Payments relating to our services are done via our host server which
uses a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encrypted connection between it and your
browser. We use a highly respected Internet payment administration service
Protx in conjunction with Streamline. This is actually likely to be much safer than giving your
details over the telephone or even at a retail
outlet where your credit/debit card may be out of your sight.
We will take every precaution to protect the integrity of our members.Someone2travelwith
do not hold any credit/debit card details on our system.
You will be required to conform to normal credit card company procedures
including that your registered address matches the credit/debit card used.
Failure to do so may lead to withdrawal of membership or registered membership,
whichever is applicable.
If you are asked for, and provide, details of credit, debit or charge
card, you must ensure that:
1. You are fully entitled to use that card.
2. Have available funds to cover the charges that will be deducted from
you.
Once payment has been approved and debited, access will be allowed to
our secure messaging service and all the benefits of the site, including
our Travel Club and offers from its affiliates.
Further to paragraph 4.4 of the terms and conditions, please note details
on this site concerning fees only represent an invitation to treat, rather
than a binding offer.

circumstances. A decision on what constitutes extenuating circumstances
